In 2004, I sold my big house and built a tiny house on wheels. I then squeezed my new 'home sweet home' into my friends' backyard. After 13-years we agree: on Day 1, we knew nothing would ever be the same again, we just didn't know it would end up so good. She writes about her journey in The BIG TINY.

She is a tiny home builder, teacher and author of The Big Tiny. She’s co-owner of Portland Alternative Dwellings. Dee lives in Olympia Washington with her husband, and a dog that has chewed every pair of flip-flops they own.
