Heather Walters

Heather Walters is a Senior Project Director in the Sustainability Practice at Thornton Tomasetti’s Portland Maine office.  She has over 15 years of experience in sustainable design, including Living Building Challenge, LEED, WELL, and Sites projects.  Heather leverages a unique and diverse background which includes degrees in architecture and anthropology, running a 200 member CSA farm, and architectural design to assist clients in her current role as a sustainability consultant.   Bringing knowledge gained through projects ranging from small office renovations to skyscrapers and from dormitories to airports she is able to assist in generating solutions which consider occupant health & wellness, energy & environmental impact, and biophilic design.
