Maggie Stone

Maggie Stone is the Director of Operations for The Nature Conservancy in Maine, responsible for providing direction and leadership for all activities related to administration, human resources, facilities, office management, team culture, and safety for the Maine Chapter. In this capacity, Maggie co-led the process to design the organization’s new headquarters in Maine, serving on the core project planning team throughout, starting with programming, and served as the day-to-day project manager for the process ensuring that the mission of the organization was expressed in the project. She also developed all required policies for the project’s WELL certification. Maggie has worked for the Conservancy for ten years, serving on both the Development and Operations Teams to provide staff, donors, and trustees with the opportunities and tools needed to be effective in supporting the Conservancy’s overall success and management in the state.
